I'm Back!

After a very long absence from my personal blog site, I have returned and plan to update information on my art happenings on a regular basis.

I now have two working studios - one in my Beaverton home which has always been here since we moved to Oregon over eleven years ago; and a second in Multnomah Village at 7830 SW 40th Avenue across from the post office. I now share Studio #2 there with my friend and fabulous artist Dianne Erickson. Other artists with studios in the same building are Don Bishop, Brenda Boylan,  Chas Martin, Cherie Shanteau-Wheeler, and Suzanne Vaughn.

Artwork by Brenda, Chas, and Don are shown below.

I'm limiting my painting at the Multnomah studio to acrylics, while continuing to paint in watercolor, gouache, colored pencil, etc. at home. However both locations have work on exhibit in a variety of media. Currently, my wall space at Studio #2 features about a dozen works in gouache inspired by last year's trip to France and Italy, plus four acrylic paintings created after taking a workshop with Michael Lindstrom with an emphasis on working loose and applying the paint with confidence.

Tall Trees Along A Pink Path, Honfleur France - Gouache

One Pear, Two Apples, and Three White Roses - Acrylic on Board

Both locations are working studios, but I'm always happy to have visitors. Just email me to arrange an appointment to stop by - donnasansonartworks@comcast.net
